Our story
It all began in September 2024, with my own wedding.
I was shocked at the prices of fresh flowers and the additional cost of preserving fresh flowers as a keepsake. So, I made my own wedding bouquets and decorations from everlasting flowers.
The journey began, sourcing the best quality flowers for my bouquets, table decorations, sign decorations, and boutionierres (French for button-holes).
I put so much love into my floral decorations and found the process rewarding and relaxing. So I thought…
“WHY DON’T I DO THIS FOR OTHERS ? AND MAKE THEIR WEDDING DAY JUST AS SPECIAL ?”
Sadly, on the same day as my wedding, a friend lost her battle with brain cancer. Again, I thought…
“I COULD PROVIDE MEANINGFUL AND UNIQUE FLOWERS FOR FUNERALS, BABY SHOWERS, FORMALS AND MORE”
And, just like that, “Mayflower Designs” was born.
